RECENT AND SELECT ORDINANCES

Rezoning to R-3

Ordinance 192 had its first reading July 20, 2010, and is due to be voted on at the August 17 City Council meeting.  If approved, it will rezone certain property owned by NBAS from R-1 to R-3.

SOB Ordinance

Ordinance 186, regulating Sexually Oriented Businesses, becomes effective on January 22, 2010.


Ethics Code

The City's Ethics Code, Ordinance 169, was adopted by the City Council at their August 18, 2009 meeting.


Rezoning to GCD

Ordinance 190 rezoned the corner of US 12 and Townsend Street from CBD to GCD.


Signs Ordinance

Ordinance 178 updated the City's Zoning Ordinance regulating signage in the City.


Grass Cutting Ordinance

The City's regulations concerning keeping grass cut and controlling other vegatation is in Sections 15-11 through 15-14 of the City Code.


Work Hours for Yard Care Contractors

Ordinance 188 concerns the work hours allowed for yard care contractors.


Tree Care Ordinance

Ordinance 185 concerns planting and removing trees in the City right-of-way, trimming trees, yard care waste, and related issues.
