PNBALRSB Accepts $6 Million from the Pokagons

May 12, 2009 — The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians presented a check to the Pokagon-New Buffalo Area Local Revenue Sharing Board (PNBALRSB) for $6,188,408.13.  Per the Compact between the State of Michigan and the Tribe, this payment is 2% of the electronic gambling profits of the Four Winds Casino.  In the coming months these funds are to be distributed among area local units of government and educational agencies.
