Geisler Mayor and Kennedy Mayor Pro Tem

 

May 19, 2009 – William J. "Rusty" Geisler was elected Mayor by the City Council, and Jack Kennedy was elected Mayor Pro Tem.

The City Charter establishes a council-manager form of government in which the people elect council members; and, at the first meeting of the new council, the City Council elects one of their members to be the mayor for one year, and one of their members to be the mayor pro tem for one year.
