GEISLER ELECTED MAYOR AND MURRAY ELECTED MAYOR PRO TEM
May 18, 2010 – William J. "Rusty" Geisler was re-elected mayor, and Margaret "Migs" Murray was elected mayor pro tem by the City Council at their organizational meeting.
The City Charter establishes a council-manager form of government in which the people elect council members; and, at the first meeting of the new council, the City Council elects one of their members to be the mayor for one year, and one of their members to be the mayor pro tem for one year.
