NEW CITY MANAGER
New City Manager Michael Mitchell, Welcome!
March 1, 2011 — The City of New Buffalo is pleased to introduce our new City Manager, Michael "Mitch" Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell comes to the City after serving as City Manager of Hillsdale, Michigan. He has also served as Manager for the Village of Jonesville, the City of Leslie, and the Village of Roscommon. Mr. Mitchell earned his Master of Public Administration degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Central Michigan University. He has also attended a senior executives program at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Mr. Mitchell is originally from Niles, and he is looking forward to moving closer to family.
