NEW CITY TREASURER
New City Treasurer Dana Pinkert, Welcome!
The City is pleased to announce that in a special meeting on February 24, 2011, the City Council approved the appointment of Dana Pinkert as the new City Treasurer. Ms. Pinkert is moving here from northeastern Ohio, where she has accrued thirteen years of municipal finance experience. Most recently, Ms. Pinkert has been the Accountant/ Tax Auditor/ Business Manager for the Village of Walton Hills, Ohio, and prior to that, the Fiscal Officer for the Village of Madison, Ohio. Her first day as New Buffalo City Treasurer will be March 21. She replaces retiring City Treasurer Sue Rogers.
