Management of Legal Instruments

The City Clerk is responsible for ensuring that legal instruments (e.g. ordinances) approved by the City Council are executed by the Mayor and City Clerk, published as required, in a timely manner, and for keeping a copy of same on file, with an affidavit of publication if required.

The City Clerk is responsible for disseminating copies of legal instruments to interested persons, electronically or in print, as needed/ called for in City policy or assigned by City management.
